See Rock City

Saturday was absolutley beautiful! The weather was awesome! It was sunny and 70 degrees. We thought it would be the perfect night to take Hayden to see the lights at Rock City. He was everywhere and was into everything! We had a lot of fun but I was exhausted by the end of the night!

Merry Christmas!

We had an amazing Christmas! We are blessed in so many ways. My mom (Gigi) spent the entire week with us. It was great! We made many new memories and enjoyed spending time celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

Hayden just loves his GiGi! My mom left this morning and all day he has been asking for her. We miss you so much GiGi...thank you so much for everything!

Hayden loved all of his gifts. He was so overwhelmed he cried! Thanks Kelly and Chris for the Mega Blocks.

One of our favorite family traditions is to read Twas the Night Before Christmas!

New books! We love it!

More pics to come! We got a new camera for Christmas and are in the process of learning how to use it. From our family to yours... Merry Christmas!

Playing Santa!

Last Tuesday, Hayden, GiGi and I made our rounds around town and delivered some Santa gifts to some of our favorite people!

Here is baby Grace! Isn't she beautiful? It is hard to believe that she is already 7 weeks old. Her mom, Magen, and I have been friends for over 10 years.

Hayden had so much fun visiting with Haley and Jackson. We have really become close this year. Thank you Jen for always being there for me! You are the best!

Here are two of my favorite people... Luke and Danielle! Danielle is one of the strongest people I know. I look up to her in so many ways. We are so happy for their new family. Merry Christmas and enjoy your little miracle!

Pillow fights!

Hayden had so much fun while we were in Memphis! One night David started a pillow fight. Hayden laughed so hard and had so much fun!

Traveling with Daddy!

David has been gone a lot lately, so we decided to go with him and spend some time in Memphis. David had to work during the day, but we had a lot of fun hanging out in the evenings.

Here is Hayden playing the mall play area. I have always said the I would NEVER allow my child to play in this germ breeding factory. Oh well... this is just one of the many things I said I would never do!

Here is Hayden at one of our new favorite restaurants in Germantown... The Swanky Taco!

There were ducks in our hotel! Hayden has a slight obsession with ducks. He chased them all around the lobby!

So very thankful!

Last week David's brother, sister-in-law and our two nieces spent the entire week at our house for Thanksgiving. There was never a dull moment with a 16 month old, a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 year old running around the house. We all survived and we made a lot of memories that we will cherish for many years to come.

This is Princess Libby. She truly is a girly girl!

Hayden did not know what to do with company in the bath tub!

Having fun at Gram and Gramps!

Hayden is now saying "Gigi." My mom is beside herself, she is so excited!

Hanging out with Santa at Dollywood!

We spent the weekend in Gatlinburg after Thanksgiving. Friday, we conquered the outlets and had dinner at the Peddler...YUM! Saturday we went to Dollywood. I had not been there in years. There is so much to do for every age. Hayden enjoyed riding the rides with his cousins and the adults had fun riding the roller coasters. A big thanks to my Mom and my Mother-in-law for watching the kids so we could have some fun!

Hayden loves blocks...maybe Santa will bring him some for Christmas!
The Johnson boys with their kiddos!

We tried to have our own Johnson family photo shoot. It did not go so well. Hayden would have no part in having is picture taken.

Hayden is on the go all the time. He is never still. He is now running and loves to be free. I love this picture of him running through a field at his Grandparents.
Christmas came early at Gram and Gramps. Hayden got his very own chair.
